We are passionate when it comes to fruit. Finding the best varieties at the peak of their deliciousness drives us to create new sour beer concepts that fully embrace nature's potential. Our house yeast and bacterial culture generate a wide variety of fruity flavors and aromas through patient barrel-aging. Careful blending has accentuated the tropical characteristics that pair well with ripe passion fruit. The tropics in a glass: Dry, sour, with a light oak finish. abv 8.2%
This is a very hop forward American style IPA. Brewed with Pale, Vienna, Munich and wheat malt for a solid base for all American hops, focusing mainly on the variety “Citra.” Citra hops are a relatively new variety introduced in 2008. It was bred as a hybrid of a number of different hops, including Hallertauer Mittelfrüh, U.S. Tettnanger, East Kent Golding, Bavarian, Brewers Gold, and other unknown hops. The resulting hop, Citra, has a distinct citrusy and tropical fruit flavor and aroma. In Citra ass down we used American Columbus for bittering and 11# of Citra at the end of the boil for late kettle addition flavor and aroma. Then we added 6 more pounds Citra and 5# Centennial post fermention for aroma. Rebrewed for your tasting pleasure!
A tart, fruity sour beer. Dr. Robot is as playful as its name. After souring to a delightfully tart level, we add blackberry juice and lemon zest to enhance and balance the flavor. The juice gives this beer a pink hue. The perfect blend of sweet and sour, Dr. Robot is a refreshing year-round sipper.
Refreshing cider starts with really good juice. Not artificially flavored, generic juice, but juice from just-picked apples, bursting with flavor. Treehorn uses fresh-pressed juice from regional orchards, we’re committed to apples grown as close to Atlanta as possible – no more than 150 miles away. We believe supporting local agriculture is good for sustainability, the economy of our state, the environment, and most of all our taste buds. Fresh tastes good for a reason. So that magic that happens to turn juice into cider? It’s a little bit like making wine. You need yeast, really big tanks and time to make the cider perfect.
Hazy New England IPA. Easy drinking for the summer heat!
BREWING DUVEL SINGLE FERMENTED Created by the Moortgat family, bottled Duvel is one of Belgium’s favorite ales. The secret of its success lies in using only best-quality ingredients, and in the well-balanced, very specific, complex brewing and refermentation process that takes over 90 days. After brewing and first fermentation – which takes about 30 days – the beer is tasted by the brewmaster and his staff. At this stage this beer is called “single-fermented.” Typical Duvel flavors and aromas are already emerging, but the beer is lower in alcohol and carbonation, and the taste is slightly lighter and crisper. http://www.duvel.com/en-us/the-beer/duvel-draft
This kettle-soured beer balances its tartness against the earthy quality of the Brettanomyces that is added during fermentation. Named after King Midas, we hope to see great things out of this base golden sour.
Pecan Brown Ale
According to Indian philosophy and religion, jnana is a Sanskrit term for knowledge — specifically, knowledge achieved through meditation as a means of reaching divine reality (Brahman). The flavor notes in this juicy IPA are similarly complex to the type of study its named for. Jnana Juice is made with Azaca and Idaho 7 hops, and is packed with flavor. Expect notes of pineapple, stone fruit and green onion, with slight cayenne pepper and grassiness in the finish.
Starting its life as a Strong Amber Ale, Kennesaw Bourbon Ale is transformed through the addition of American OakSpirals aged on Sidetrack Brand Bourbon distilled by our Kennesaw neighbors, Lazy Guy Distillery, just over a mile down the road from our brewery. The addition of the bourbon spirals delivers delicious vanilla and oak notes, while still maintaining the smooth Amber Base!
The Vienna lager was all but forgotten until 1861, when Napoleon III invaded Mexico and brought an influx of European brewers to the continent, reintroducing the style with great success. The style is defined by the malt character. Designed on a Viennese water profile, it showcases a light red to orange hue from the kilned Vienna malt gives a rich, nutty character. Light noble hop aroma and slight bitterness takes a back seat to the flavor of the malt profile. Little yeast character is contributed for a clean, dry finish.
This little peanut gave PB&J a fresh new look! No Crusts is a bready brown ale that sandwiches the aroma of creamy peanut butter with a fruity finish reminiscent of mixed berry jam. One taste will envelop you in waves of nostalgic flavor - just don’t forget to cut the crust!
This distinctive type of beer was originally brewed to withstand the abuses of shipping in foul weather to Imperial Russia. It was a favourite of Russian nobility whose taste for the finest food and drink was world famous. A rich flavourful brew; deep chocolate in colour with a roasted barley nose and flavour that is a complexity of malt, hops, alcohol and yeast. Fermented in ‘stone Yorkshire squares’.
New England Style IPA - Juicy, hoppy and cloudy, just like it should be!
Pre-Game is a Session Ale, this means this beer has great drinking potential. At 4.5% it beholds all of the craft flavor that you crave, but stays away from being too heavy. This beer is golden in color and low in bitterness. Hops do come through in a sweet piney aroma that makes the end of every sip sound like . . . Game Time!
Quadrupel is La Trappe’s heaviest ale with a stunning amber colour. Its warm and intense flavour is rich and finely balanced. Malty sweet, slightly burnt, and pleasantly bitter with a sweet aftertaste. Quadrupel continues to ferment after bottling and offers aromas of banana, almond, vanilla and others.
Named after the hops used (Vic Secret, Apollo, and Falconer’s Flight), this hazy IPA has been one of most popular beers in our Taproom. Fans have been asking us to can this beer since we started serving it in the Taproom, and we listened.
Trifecta…A winning ticket? The perfect bet? A Dick Vitale saying? Maybe, but in this case it’s about a dark horse collaboration gone golden. A rather full-bodied American IPA brewed with an abundance of Citra hops with a refreshing yet potent nose of citrus and a smooth drinkability with notes of grapefruit and a pleasant sweetness.
St.Bernardus Tripel is a traditional abbey ale brewed in the classic "Triple" style of Belgium's best Abbey Ales. It has a blond to pale amber color with a wonderful head, slightly sweet aroma and the orangey-grassy flavors of hops in the finish. Wonderfully drinkable and surprisingly light
This tasty IPA is loaded with mosaic and citra hops and blended with a touch of passion fruit and lychee post-fermentation. Juicy IPA, IPA shandy...call it what you want - we call it delicious and seriously crushable. Mosaic and citra hops provide a juicy profile that strikes the perfect balance with subtle additions of tropical fruit. A soft mouthfeel and a clean, rounded finish that avoids piney bitterness make Tropic Plunder the epitome of an easy drinking, sessionable IPA.
Head brewer Morgan Wireman teamed up with former homebrewing partner Tyler Swayne to brew up our first wheat beer at the brewpub. Wise Owl opens up with a banana nose with hints of clove and spice. This malt-forward beer has slight vanilla and banana pudding notes and a clean finish.
Dark fruit aromas of blackberry, plum, and black cherry, the toasty oak frames and adds depth. Complex notes of cocoa, cassis, pepper, and cedar.
Rich, medium-bodied wine, hints of oak, lush tropical fruit flavors. Silver Medal Los Angeles International Wine Competition
Why "Authentica"? Because our Classic Red Sangria is authentically Spanish and uses only native Spanish grapes and natural ingredients to create deliciously bright flavors of juicy orange citrus, cherry, grape, and a touch of apple. Authentica is lower in calories, per ounce, than most Sangrias! We let the fruit make it sweet, so don't have to add very much sugar. The result is a more refreshing, easier to drink Sangria.
This wine is purely and simply summertime in a glass. The 2015 Hogwash Rose displays a pale salmon-pink color and a beautiful and lively nose that showcases aromas of watermelon candy, red cherries, red current and rose water. Medium bodied, it has incredible vibrancy that combines with its great finish to create a wine that is both a very serious rose wine but has something for everyone.
